Appointments & practical information
How do I book an appointment at Colvet ?
The easiest way is to book online at rdv.colvet.lu, any time of day or night. You can also call us on +352 27 52 19 39 during opening hours.
Where is the clinic located ?
Our clinic is at 3 Rue des Frênes, L-1549 Luxembourg, in the Cessange district. See the map →
What are your opening hours ?
We are open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 18:00. The clinic is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
How do I change or cancel an appointment ?
You can change or cancel your appointment from the confirmation email you receive when booking, or by calling us. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance when possible, so the slot can be freed up for another animal.
Do you handle emergencies ?
During opening hours, call us as soon as possible: we do our best to see urgent cases quickly. Outside our opening hours, you can find the on-call veterinary service in Luxembourg on the Veterinary College website: collegeveterinaire.lu/urgences.
Orthopaedics & second opinion
My dog or cat is limping: do I need a referral from my vet ?
No. You can book an appointment directly, without a referral letter, in particular for a second opinion on a limp. We welcome both pet owners and patients referred by their regular vet.
What should I bring to an orthopaedic consultation ?
Bring your animal's health record and, if you have them, any X-rays and reports already done (on CD, USB stick or by email). This helps us make an accurate diagnosis and avoids repeating certain tests unnecessarily.
Which orthopaedic surgeries do you perform ?
Orthopaedics is our specialty: cranial cruciate ligament rupture (TPLO), patellar luxation, hip dysplasia, osteoarthritis, fractures and trauma, in both dogs and cats. Discover orthopaedics →
Care & clinic
Which animals do you treat ?
We treat dogs and cats.
Do you run tests and X-rays on site ?
Yes. We have an in-house laboratory (results in about 30 minutes in most cases) and digital radiography right at the clinic, for a fast diagnosis with no back-and-forth. See our facilities →
